Charles Rutonesha

Charles M. Rutonesha holds a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) from Indiana University, Robert H. McKinney School of Law (2019), a Master's in Laws (LLM) from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law (2011), and a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Franklin University (1999). He also earned a Bachelor of Arts/Science in Sociology from The Ohio State University in 1997 and completed graduate studies in social sciences at Institut Superieur d'Etudes Sociales in 1984, located in Lubumbashi, the Democratic Republic of Congo. In terms of professional experience, Charles M. Rutonesha served as a civil servant in the Ministry of Labor and Jobs Training in Kigali, Rwanda (1987-1991) and worked as a legal consultant for the Rwanda Demobilization and Reintegration Program in Kigali (October 1999-November 2002). He also served as a legal consultant for Neighborhood Services International in Ottawa, Canada (November 2002-March 2012), interned at The Onyia Law Firm in Columbus, Ohio (April 2012-April 2013), and worked as an international advisor for Columbus International Program/US Together (March 2016-December 2019). Currently, Charles M. Rutonesha is employed as a Senior Representative at Primerica in Columbus, Ohio, starting from October 2021.
